HPSC HCS Eligibility Criteria 2024 Nationality

To qualify for the HCS examination, candidates must fulfill one of the following conditions

(a) Hold Indian citizenship.

(b) Be a citizen of Nepal.

(c) Be a citizen of Bhutan.

(d) Be a Tibetan refugee who entered India prior to January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent residence.

(e) Be a person of Indian origin who has relocated to India to establish permanent residency. These individuals must have originated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Zaire, Zambia, Malawi, Ethiopia, or Vietnam.

HPSC HCS Eligibility Criteria 2024 Maximum Attempt

HPSC has not established a specific limit on the number of attempts for any candidate. However, candidates must meet the age limit set by the commission to satisfy all eligibility requirements for the Haryana Civil Services examination.

HPSC HCS Eligibility Criteria 2024 Domicile

For candidates to avail reservation benefits, permanent domicile status in Haryana is crucial. According to the HPSC HCS Eligibility notification, only residents of Haryana will receive age relaxation and other applicable reservation benefits for the specified post. Non-domiciled candidates will be categorized as general candidates, regardless of whether they belong to any reserved category.

Minimum Educational Qualifications HCS 2024

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or an equivalent degree from a recognized University as of 28.02.2023 (the Closing date).
