The PCS (Punjab Civil Services Executive) is conducted by PPSC (Punjab Public Service Commission) to recruit SDMs, DSPs, Tehsildars and other senior bureaucrats for service in Punjab.
Eligibility for PCS Exam
The educational qualification needed to appear in PPSC Punjab Civil Services Exam is a Graduation Degree in any subject recognized by UGC. Matriculation as compulsory or elective.
Age Limit for PCS Exam
The Minimum Age to appear in PPSC Punjab Civil Services Exam is 21 years as on 1st January of that year. Upper Age limit for General Category is 37 Years, for BC/SC it is 42 years. Age limit for DSP is 28 for General Category and 33 for BC/SC.

Rank List is prepared based on total marks obtained in the Seven Papers of Main Exam and the Marks of the Personality Test. (i.e. 1350 Marks from 7 Papers + 150 Marks for Personality Test = 1500 Total Marks)
Attempts
Number of attempts permissible for a general category candidate in PPSC Punjab Civil Services Exam is 6, for BC candidates the number of attempts permitted is 9, SC category will have unlimited attempts till they attain the upper age limit to appear for PPSC Punjab Civil Service Exam.
