Eligibility for MP PCS Exam

The educational qualification required to appear in MPPSC State Services Exam is a Graduate Degree in any subject recognized by UGC or equivalent government qualification. Candidates in the final year of graduation may also apply provisionally.

Age Limit for MP PCS Exam

The Minimum Age to appear in MPPSC State Services Exam is 21 years as on 1st January of that examination year.

  • Non-Uniformed Posts (General):21 – 40 Years
  • SC / ST / OBC / Women (MP Domicile):21 – 45 Years
  • Uniformed Posts / DSP (General):21 – 33 Years
  • Uniformed Posts (Reserved):21 – 38 Years

Permissible Attempts

There is no specific attempt restriction for MPPSC as long as candidates are within the prescribed age limit.

  • General Category:Till 40 Years
  • OBC / SC / ST Category:Till 45 Years
  • Female Candidates:Till 45 Years

Candidates can attempt the exam till the completion of their maximum permissible age.

The MP PCS Prelims Exam consists of two objective papers. Paper I decides merit for State Administrative Services, while Paper II is qualifying (except for State Forest Services where both are counted).
