Eligibility for Rajasthan PCS Exam

The educational qualification required to appear in RPSC RAS Exam is a Graduate Degree from an incorporated university or institution recognized by UGC. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply provisionally.

Age Limit for Rajasthan PCS Exam

The Minimum Age to appear in RPSC RAS / RTS Exam is 21 years (18 for non-gazetted government servants) as on 1st January of examination year.

  • General (Female - Rajasthan):21 – 45 Years
  • SC / ST / OBC / MBC / EWS (Male):21 – 45 Years
  • SC / ST / OBC / MBC / EWS (Female):21 – 50 Years
Physical criteria apply for RPS (Police Service)

Permissible Attempts

There is no numerical attempt limit in RPSC RAS. Candidates can take the exam till they attain the maximum prescribed age limit.

  • General Category:Till 40 Years
  • OBC / SC / ST / EWS:Till 45 Years
  • Reserved Females:Till 50 Years

Candidates are eligible as long as age relaxation provisions apply.

The RPSC RAS Exam Pattern includes three sequential stages testing conceptual knowledge, analytical thinking, language skills, and administrative aptitude.

RPSC Preliminary Exam

RPSC Mains Exam

Rajasthan PCS Prelims Exam Pattern

The RAS Prelims examination consists of one single objective paper on General Knowledge and General Science carrying 200 marks for 3 hours.

The Personality and Viva-voce Examination carries 100 marks. In awarding marks for personality, candidate personality, address, tact, behavior, leadership, and knowledge of Rajasthani culture and dialect are evaluated.
